The Many Faces of.... Mini Sessions

What do you remember about your children as they grow?

I remember the laughter, the look of surprise, the tears, the excitement and the face of my children as they discover something new...

All of these things bring the reminder of their many expressions and the look on their faces.

The "Many Faces of...." mini-session's purpose is to capture exactly that... 

Precious Memories would like to introduce to you our newest mini session. The "Many Faces of...." mini-session's purpose is to capture exactly that; Your children's expressions and personalities.

Details are as follows:

Sessions may be scheduled at anytime of the year and will be held in studio.

Cost is $75 for a 30 minute session.

Session will be on solid black or white background.

Sweet Saturdays

Life is just chaotic right now.... Between moving the studio, our house and my oldest son's addiction of Lacrosse (or shall I say, his coach's addiction), we are constantly ON THE MOVE...

Fortunately, Lindsey is an incredible asset to Precious Memories and can take on the Saturday sessions when needed. Of course, a lot of her Saturdays are taken up photographing high school seniors. However, she manages to squeeze in family and children sessions as well. She is amazing....

This past Saturday, she photographed one of our Precious Memories families and their newest addition. As I was proofing the session from Saturday, I was immediately drawn to the sweetness of these two brothers. I stopped and thought about my hectic life and how thankful I am to be able to share in the moments of these families, even if I am not doing the session. It is almost like I was there. I can't wait for them to see how adorable their children look. So, here is a sneak peak of their session.


  

Amazing how much they grow...

I am always amazed how fast our little friends grow. Especially, when they go from sitting to walking from one session to the next. Little Mr. P was such fun. I just love how calm his mom is. At one point I thought he was going to faceplant onto the floor and Lindsey caught him just in time. Mom never even flinched. 
Those neonatal nurses are some amazing women... ;)

Spring Mini-sessions

This year we will be doing something a bit different for our Spring Mini sessions. Normally, we go to Botanical Gardens in Birmingham. However, this year we thought we would step out of the box a little. We will be shooting on the campus of The University of Montevallo for our yearly spring mini sessions. The campus has such history and beautiful architecture. It is sure to make an incredible background for the gorgeous portraits of your children.

Introducing the new studio

We are so excited to introduce pictures of our new location to you here on our blog. I think you will find that it totally fits our style. Warm, inviting and cozy.

 We are finally moved in and actually conducting business again. ;)

Personality

It is always amazing to me to see how sweet little personalities shine through at such a young age. As a parent, getting to watch my children's personalities develop was always such a thrill to me. One of my favorite things during a session is to capture the personalities of my little subjects and to capture it shining through.

Shoes make the outfit

What fun it was to see Reed again. It is amazing how much he has grown. Not only does he have gorgeous eyelashes, he always shows up sporting his fabulous Chuck Taylors... Now Reed is one little boy who knows that the shoes make the outfit...

   

Happy sweet 16, Amanda!

Morris Avenue seems to be such a huge choice of location around our studio, especially with the older clients. This beautiful 16 year old not only loves photography, she is obviously very comfortable in front of the camera as well. It is always such a pleasure to work with someone who is so confident at this young age.

Happy Birthday, Tinsley!

We had another amazing session with Tinsley, celebrating her 3rd birthday. After a few date and location changes due to the freezing artic blast, we could not have found the more perfect place to capture this beautiful little girl. And, despite the cold, she and Lindsey had a great time playing 'follow the leader' all throughout the shoot. We have some great candid shots of Lindsey doing the pose right before Tinsley (although we're about 110% sure that Lindsey has probably already deleted or archived them so they will never make it on the blog!).

It was so hard to pick just 3-4 favorites to share on the blog so we decided to create a special album from this session on our Facebook page. A Mother's Love

We absolutely love when Aiden and Andrea come to the studio. And, it was an amazing 9-month session with them. His eyes are stunning as you'll see below, but our favorite moment of the session was the serene look on his face while he was hugging his mommy. There is nothing like the love between a mother and child and how special for us to have had the opportunity to capture that memory for them that will last a lifetime.
